Day one
XBRL 2014was officially kicked off by nference chair Philip Moyer.Regulatory Data Analysis Using XBRL -Regulators from the United Kingdom,the United States and Japan discussed how regulatory data in XBRL format is being used by their various agencies.New XBRL Initiatives from Around the World -Michal Piechocki of BR-AG,XII Board member,moderated a panel discussion on cutting edge XBRL implementations.Yoshiaki Wada,Senior Manager of Global Business Development,NTT DATA rporation,gave an overview of a voluntary environmental reporting program in Japan.Paul Snijders,CEO,Semansys Technologies outlined how a "holistic reporting chain"is revolutionizing the exchange of pension and other employment related information between citizens,employers and the ernment in The herlands.Finally the China MOF demonstrated their new global analytics platform enmpassing data from China,the US and the UK.
Day two
The Day Two keynote speakers at Better Data for Better Decision tackled the ics of ernment reporting and the role of structured data in financial markets.Tying this together are the benefits -people better nnected to and informed by the large scale institutions who serve them.
