The European Securities and Markets Authority is seeking a “Sended National Expert”(SNE)with a profile in XBRL for its Investors and Issuers Department,which is part of a wider rporate Reporting Team.ESMA has the mandate to develop draft Regulatory Technical Standards specifying the electronic reporting format (the European Single Electronic Format –ESEF)in which issuers will have to prepare their annual financial reports from 1January 2020.

The SNE will ntribute to the development of the detailed technical specifications of the ESEF,especially filing rules and a regulatory XBRL extension taxonomy;liaise with ESMA IT on XBRL matters and design and anise the field test of the developed technical specifications of the ESEF.

Interested (and eligble)members of the XBRL mmunity are enuraged to read the vacancy posting and apply.Eligibility to be an SNE in this area includes candidates from national mpetent authorities that are part of ESMA,EIOPA and EBA;or other public sector administration or university,as well as being a national of an EU or EFTA Member State.The XBRL SNE will remain in the service of their current employer for the duration of the project.
