The XII Board of Directors has approved the Assertion Severity specification as “XBRL Remendation”.This is a modular addition to the XBRL Formula specification that allows validation rules to be classified aording to their severity.This is to meet requirements from a number of XBRL implementations for formula rules that are treated as “warnings”,and thus do not cause rejection of a filing,and for validation messages that are purely informational,and not suggestive of any defect in the filing.
