As a follow on to its requirement that panies file Shareholding Pattern data (which divulge how a pany’s shares are split among the entities that make up its owners) in XBRL, the BSE will now llect Financial Results data in XBRL.

XBRL adoption is widespread in India, with the Ministry of rporate Affairs (annual report and st audit report filings), the Reserve Bank and the Securities and Exchange Board (mutual funds) also having XBRL reporting mandates. Learn more.
