'Advanced Find' Feature
Find any line item in the MCA taxonomy, even if it appears in multiple sections. This feature, combined
with the taxonomy based Calculation Helper makes XBRL tagging of line items very easy and quick, and
will boost user productivity many times over. It is now very easy to navigate over all of the sections in
the MCA taxonomy.

2. MCA Taxonomy has multiple sets of calculations for several elements. Use the inbuilt
Calculation Checker to see how your figures add up.
In the calculation helper, you can click on any item of the MCA XBRL Taxonomy (2011), for
which you have entered a value, to navigate to it. You can go to the child items of any
parent/summation/total item and from a child item, you can navigate to the
parent/summation/total item.
3. Use the Element Information tab to see details of Elements of the MCA Taxonomy
In the Element Information screen, you can see details of the element as it is in the MCA
Taxonomy files. You can see various labels and documentation applicable to the XBRL element
to guide you in filling the data. Details of an element like it's context ID (which specifies
whether a line item is applicable as on a certain date or period). You can also see all the sections
where an element appears and quickly navigate to it by clicking on it. For example, in the
screenshot above, on the left side, you can see that the element 'NetBlock' appears in three
sections and you can click on the section name to navigate to it. |
