Turner's extensive experience in the development of both XBRL (eXensible Business Reporting Language) and iXBRL (inline eXtensible Business Reporting Language) make him a great asset as Rivet continues to evolve its product offerings.

Turner led the revolution as Chairman of the XBRL International Standards Board (the peak technical body of the not-for-profit consortium that works to promote and support the industry standards) from 2006 to 2010. He worked for 6 years as CEO and co-founder of CoreFiling (a leading global XBRL vendor), where he played a vital role in the company's growth worldwide. While at CoreFiling, Turner invented iXBRL based on his idea of taking XBRL data tags and combining them with HTML formatting to make filing documents readable in a web browser. iXBRL makes the new international language of finance accessible and simpler for regulators and companies to implement. Prior to leading CoreFiling, he was the leader of KPMG LLP's Global XBRL Services Team providing technical and strategic consulting services to regulators and the private sector.
