puterWorld UK reported that the UK’s Financial Reporting uncil (FRC) has called for panies to publish searchable, online-only versions of their annual reports.

This is part of the aounting watchdog’s remendations for panies to improve aessibility to annual reports for investors. It presented its proposals in its ‘Effective pany Stewardship: Enhancing rporate Reporting and Audit’ report.

The FRC believes that the annual report and aounts to be posted on a pany’s web, rather than produced in print,” it said in its proposals.
