New Release of Longview 7 Raises the Bar with Enhancements in Four Key Areas: External Reporting, Usability, Integration and Performance

Toronto, Canada – October 7, 2010 – Longview Solutions, a leading provider of corporate performance management and tax provisioning software, announced today the latest release of its flagship product - Longview 7. This is the third release since Longview introduced its 7.0 SOA-based platform in October 2009 and introduces functional improvements in External Reporting, Usability, Data and Application Integration.

External Reporting

• Longview FXR, a new product in the Longview 7 Suite, provides Statutory/XBRL Reporting and Financial Close Management and is designed to support the post-consolidation financial and external reporting processes including preparation of consolidated data for XBRL extraction, external reporting process workflow, XBRL tagging, financial statement production, footnote disclosure management and outputs to regulatory authorities in various formats. Usability and Performance

• Longview’s Tax Provisioning module, Longview Tax now has a new more modern user interface, enhanced administrative wizards, and several new automation features to streamline and automate the tax provisioning process. For more information, click here.
• Enhanced end user capabilities in the areas of analysis, reporting and data input including enhanced drill-through, conditional highlighting, printing and online help.
• A series of optimizations further improving query and restatement performance.

Data Integration

• Enhanced integration with Microsoft Office 2010 including PowerPivot and with other 3^rd party Business Intelligence and reporting tools giving clients faster, more efficient publishing of data and flexible structural layout options.

Application Integration

Longview 7 Update 2 gives clients technical enhancements in the following areas:

• A Library of web-service API’s for data integration that includes retrieving, creating, and updating symbols, hierarchies, and data
• Support for additional client and server platforms including MS-Office 2010 (32-bit), Windows 7 (64-bit) and Oracle 11g RDBMS
