In Rome in April (At the 20th XBRL International nference), the International Steering mmittee will vote on revisions to the bylaws of XBRL International. XBRL International (XII) is a membership anization. The members are the Jurisdictions (and a few direct members).
I wonder how many members of the Jurisdictions are aware of the changes proposed to the bylaws? Have you seen the new bylaws that your representative to the ISC will be voting on?
One Jurisdiction’s member have been provided with the revised bylaws and asked for mment. Spain.
I’ve written recently about one example of suess in Spain. This is another. Their mmitment to XBRL is further demonstrated in their posting of the proposed bylays for members to read and provide feedback to XBRL Spain. You can aess the proposed bylaws here:
I’v also been told that the proposed bylaws wll be distributed to members of the UK jurisdiction with a request for questions and feedback.
If your jurisdiction has not provided you with the proposed bylaws, I suggest you ask your ISC representative for a py of the proposed bylaws. I also remmend that you ntact your jurisdiction representative and determine how they will be voting in relation to approval of the new bylaws. |
