On the same day, the website initiated its internal trial run.

The CSRC’s Dept. of Investment Funds Supervision released the “No. 2 Daily NAV Report Template”. All fund management companies shall officially file XBRL-formed Daily NAV Reports, signed by the custodian banks upon review no later than 9am on the disclosure day from January 1, 2009.

The CSRC issued its (2008) No.35 announcement on the “XBRL Taxonomy for Securities Investment Fund Information Disclosure” and its introduction, explaining the systematic structure, composition of the technical documents, major technical elements and application methods of the XBRL taxonomy for fund information disclosure, and required that the fund management companies shall adopt the taxonomy in their filing of the XBRL instance documents of the fund information disclosure with the CSRC from the issuance day, with the mechanism of continuously updating the taxonomy with the development of the business established.

The acceptance check meeting of the XBRL taxonomy for fund information disclosure was held in Shanghai, at which the experts reviewed the taxonomy and reached a consensus on the acceptance of the taxonomy, with the XBRL technical specification for fund information disclosure basically established.

The CSRC held the 2nd phase XBRL work meeting for fund information disclosure, which, on the basis of summarizing the experience of initial 7 pilot fund management companies, decided to expand the trial filing of the XBRL-Formed 2008 2nd Quarterly Reports to all fund management companies, and to accelerate the filing on Daily NAV Report.
