As part of our ongoing review and update of operating policies and new case law XBRL International is considering revising its IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) Policy.
The XBRL International Steering Committee (ISC) believes this is such an important part of the organization's relationship with its members and stakeholders that it was important to solicit input directly. Please review both the proposed IPR policy and the document entitled “Frequently Asked Questions”. We request your comments be directed to the following e-mail: ipr@
The comment period starts today, April 15th, 2009 and ends forty five days from now – June 1st, 2009. Please try to have your comments posted as soon as practical as we plan to discuss adopting this policy during the XII 19th Conference in Paris this June 23-26th.
