The taxonomy, developed by the Central Balance Sheets Office in operation with XBRL Belgium, for the drawing up of standardized annual acunts by mmercial and industrial mpanies as from 1 April 2007 is now available on the web of the Belgian jurisdiction .

The final taxonomy was presented on 25 January 2006 to the Belgian jurisdiction.  It is a modular taxonomy based on the 2.1 Specification and is provided in four languages (Dutch, English, French and German).

The Central Balance Sheet Office is now working on the development of a web application which will allow the mpanies to fill in their annual acunts.  The publication process will also be adapted in order to meet the legal mission and to put the annual acunts at the disposal of any interested person.

The XBRL format will be used for the filing via Inter of statutory annual acunts of Belgian non-financial mpanies as from April 2007.  About 290.000 mpanies and 320.000 annual acunts will be ncerned.
