XBRL International has recently granted acknowledged status to the taxonomy for information disclosure of China's listed companies developed by the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) on its own. In a public statement on its official website, XBRL International confirmed that the SSE-developed taxonomy, the first one acknowledged by XBRL International in China, is in line with the latest XBRL Specification. The taxonomy is being applied extensively in China's listed companies' information disclosure.
XBRL, the abbreviation for eXtensible Business Reporting Language, is presently the latest standard and technology applied worldwide in the unstructured information processing, especially in the financial information processing. The application of XBRL in the securities industry helps to standardize an orderly development of the information disclosure of China's listed companies and the securities information service industry, and facilitates the exchange and data sharing between domestic listed companies and other international securities markets. |
