General Engineer Bai Shuo of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) indicated at the World Federation of Exchanges Forum for Developing Markets yesterday that the SSE would continue to promote the application of XBRL in fund information disclosure based on the success of application in disclosing listed companies' information.

In his theme speech, Bai introduced that the SSE, under the framework and system of the "Electronic Information Disclosure Specification for Listed Companies" formulated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, applied XBRL to listed companies' information disclosure, realizing the innovation of supervision and service and improving information transparency of listed companies.
